Handmade Flirt Pole with Line-Through System

Playing, chasing, and training together. This flirt pole is handcrafted by our partner A.R.T.D. and is designed for interactive play between dog and owner.

Thanks to the line-through system, the rope runs through the flirt pole. Via the knot at the bottom, you can adjust the length of the rope at the top from approximately 0 to 95 cm during play. With the right timing, you can bring the toy closer or give it more space. This way, you can continuously vary speed, distance, and movement during play.

The flirt pole can be used to challenge your dog physically and mentally and to provide controlled outlets for natural chasing behavior. Because the game is highly motivating for many dogs, you can also use it to practice, for example, waiting, starting on a release signal, and letting go.

Line-through system: Adjust the available rope length from approximately 0 to 95 cm during play.

No metal carabiner at the end: Equipped with a loop to which you can attach, for example, a tassel, a sturdy piece of fabric, or suitable faux fur.

Important for use:

A flirt pole can be an intense form of play and exercise. Warm up your dog before starting intense play, play on a suitable surface with sufficient grip, and adjust the duration and intensity to your dog and the circumstances.

Preferably keep the toy low to the ground during the chase and let your dog actually "win" regularly.

We advise against attaching a ball to this flirt pole. From practical experience, a ball can get stuck or lodged behind the canine teeth during catching. It's better to use a suitable tassel, sturdy piece of fabric, or similar material.

Always use the flirt pole under supervision and regularly check the rope, attachment, and used material for wear.
