Advice & knowledge about dogs, toys, treats, and training
Choosing a dog toy, trying a new chew, or starting with a training product. Sometimes, you just want to know what you're buying and how to use it properly.
That's why at FurFun, we are building our own Advice & Knowledge environment.
Here, we gather practical information about the products we sell and topics we deal with daily. From our StrongScore for dog toys and ChewScore for treats to comprehensive articles on materials, safe chewing, training, grooming, and nutrition.
Based on our own experience
We prefer not to sell just any product simply because it looks good or because a supplier claims it's good.
Many products are used and tested by ourselves, Chase, and our testing team. We also incorporate this practical experience into the articles you find here.
At the same time, we know the limits of our knowledge. We are not veterinarians, nutritionists, or animal behaviorists, and we do not claim to be. For topics where specialized knowledge is important, we use reliable sources or refer to the appropriate professional.
Our goal is simple: to provide honest and understandable information that helps you make a better choice for your dog.
We're far from finished
Our Advice & Knowledge section is new and will be continuously expanded in the coming period. We are working on a complete knowledge base with practical information about dog toys, dog treats, training, and care.
No endless theory, but clear explanations based on our product knowledge, our own experiences, and, where possible, the practical tests by Chase and our test team.
Toys
Everything about dog toys, materials, and safe use. Read how our StrongScore works, discover the differences between materials, and learn which toys are suitable for different ways of playing, such as fetching and tug-of-war.
Treats
Practical information about dog treats and chew treats. From our ChewScore and safe chewing to storing natural dog treats, different animal protein sources, and explanations about natural phenomena you might encounter with dried treats.
Training
Explanation of how to use training products for dogs. Think about training and playing with a flirt pole, tug, bite roll, food dummy, clicker, or tracking line. We share our own experiences and show how we use various products in practice.
Care
Practical information about the daily care of your dog and the use of grooming products. Think about paw balm, dog shampoo, brushes, and other products from our range.
Our knowledge base is still under development. New articles and topics are regularly added, so that this will gradually become a more complete place for practical information about dogs and the products we use and sell ourselves.
